SALEM, Ohio — Agritourism will return to the group travel industry again this year when the AgritourismWorld Summit shares a footprint with the BiG Travel Weekend. This will be the second year that the two organizations have joined forces to create an awareness of agriculture-related tourism in the group travel market.
The AgritourismWorld Summit expects to play host to more than 50 farms involved in agritourism. The goal of the gathering will be to deliver tourism marketing tools to farms and markets that welcome group tours and to create awareness of agritourism with traveling groups.
“We welcome farms to join us at the AgritourismWorld Summit and guarantee that they will meet a lot of great groups,” said Charlie Presley of AgritourismWorld.
The AgritourismWorld Summit is a service of AgritourismWorld and is the largest organization of farms and markets in tourism, with more than 3,000 members. AgritourismWorld is the leading search portal online to find farms and markets to visit.
