Branson, MO. Spring 2015 – The owners and developers of Big Whiskey’s American Restaurant & Bar are excited to announce the construction of a 6th location in Branson, Missouri. The new restaurant will be located on the Branson Landing in the Hilton Promenade.
The flagship location in Downtown Springfield opened its doors in July of 2006 and quickly became a local favorite. In November 2008, a second location was opened in Little Rock, Arkansas and was quickly followed up with another Springfield spot on West Republic Road in the summer of 2010. After opening a fourth Big Whiskey’s American Restaurant & Bar on Battlefield Road in 2011, the desire to branch out to neighboring communities became a priority to the ownership group including Paul Sundy, Michael Heslin, Randy Gildehaus, Jame Clark, and Austin Herschend. With the success of the Ozark/Nixa location, which opened June 2014, the move to Branson was the next step in branching out.
“We are so excited to get involved in the Branson community. We’ve been wanting to come down here for years and we have finally found a spot that made sense,” said owner Paul Sundy.
The ownership group is excited not only for the opening of their 6th location, but also for the 60 jobs they will be bringing to the Branson area. Construction will begin in Branson at the beginning of January, 2015. Grand Opening will be Spring 2015, just in time for the busy season. Big Whiskey’s American Restaurant & Bar in Branson, MO. will feature the same concept, atmosphere, friendly staff, and menu as the other 4 Springfield and Ozark/Nixa locations.
