Look Down on Chicago From 1,000 Feet

CHICAGO — Visitors to Chicago can get a new high-altitude view of the Windy City at the new TILT experience at 360 Chicago, the former John Hancock Observatory.

TILT, which opened in April, is an enclosed, glass and steel moveable platform that holds up to eight visitors per cycle. The platform slowly tilts outward to an adventurous angle, generating downward-facing views of Chicago from 1,000 feet above the Magnificent Mile.

“We had a vision for elevating the experience,” said Patrick Abisseror, CEO of Montparnasse 56 Group, the owner of 360 CHICAGO.

TILT debuted during the U.S. Travel Association’s 46th Annual IPW, formerly known as International Pow Wow, April 5-9.

Special group rates are available, and reservations made 72 hours in advance are required.
