LOUISVILLE, Kentucky — The Kentucky Derby Museum has a new in-depth exhibit about 2015 Triple Crown winner American Pharoah that includes all three Triple Crown trophies displayed together for the first time.
American Pharoah captured the imagination of the country last year when he became the 12th Thoroughbred to sweep the Kentucky Derby, Preakness Stakes and Belmont Stakes and the first in 37 years. He capped his amazing year with a win in the Breeders Cup Classic.
The exhibit also tells the stories of the three men involved with American Pharoah — owner Ahmed Zayat, Hall of Fame trainer Bob Baffert and veteran jockey Victor Espinoza — with many never-before-seen artifacts and personal mementos from each of the three men.
The exhibit will run through the end of the year.
