EAU CLAIRE, Wis. — Circle Wisconsin, a familiar name to the group travel industry, has a new look and a website that again leads the nation in serving the group travel market.

Although the Circle Wisconsin logo has been updated to reflect the future of group travel, the organization is committed to continuing to deliver great travel information to the group travel market.

“When it comes to destination marketing in group travel, there is one organization that we all measure ourselves to, that is Circle Wisconsin,” said Charlie Presley of The Group Travel Family. “The organization has spent the last 25 years developing Wisconsin as a premier group travel destination and represents the lion’s share of attractions, lodging, restaurants, DMOs and receptive operators in the state. In short, a group travel planner can go to Circle Wisconsin and plan any tour available.

“It is often said that if someone in Wisconsin is not a member of Circle Wisconsin, they really are not in the group travel industry.”

The organization has upped its game again and taking advantage of an online presence has developed a state-of-the-art and usable website for group travel.

Of particular interest to group travel planners will be the ability to search Circle Wisconsin members by region within the state.

“We feel that groups plan their tours by region and have developed our website to help groups find Circle Wisconsin members that will help build a better tour,” said Peggy Bitzer, executive director of Circle Wisconsin.

In addition to searching Wisconsin by tourism region, the site also delivers tour itineraries that can easily be operated by the travel industry and group market.

“Peggy understands that groups are looking for destination itineraries that will translate into successful trips,” said Presley. “The Circle Wisconsin website has been successful in driving group business to the state and continues to be a top travel industry website in numbers of group visits.
