Midtown Arts Center
Fort Collins, Colorado
Unlike many standalone dinner theaters in out-of-the-way locations, dinner theater at Fort Collins’ Midtown Arts Center brings dinner and a show downtown, right in the heart of the city’s theatrical core. With the amenities and service of a large theater center, along with a state-of-the-art dinner theater seating area, it’s one of the only spaces of its kind in the country.
The Midtown Arts Center allows visitors to enjoy its main stage productions, such as this fall’s “Spamalot,” in a dinner theater environment that looks more akin to a modern fine-dining restaurant. Instead of eating baked chicken at typical round tables and buffets, guests nosh on pad thai, Kahlua pulled pork, prime rib and island-style mahimahi in boxes with four to six four-seat tables with ergonomic swivel chairs before turning toward the stage for the evening entertainment.
In addition to the main stage productions on Saturdays in the dinner theater, the Midtown Arts Center hosts an interactive show, “The Dinner Detective.”
