ROCK HILL, S.C. – Faith-based travel planners will travel to Rock Hill, S.C., for the annual Going On Faith Conference, Aug. 21-23. The conference brings together religious travel planners and travel industry members for business networking opportunities at two prescheduled Marketplaces.

On the first day, delegates will enjoy a traditional ice cream social hosted by Cabarrus County Convention and Visitors Bureau to officially start the conference. That evening, attendees will meet for the opening dinner and a theatrical performance by the religious-based NarroWay Productions.

The first Marketplace will occur on the second day after a keynote address. Afterward, delegates will be able to choose from three sightseeing tours that show off different aspects of the Rock Hill area, including the region’s Revolutionary War history, Billy Graham inspiration and Old Town walking tour. For dinner that evening, guests will dine around Rock Hill’s Old Town to choose which restaurant strikes their fancy.

A final Marketplace and seminar will run on Aug. 23 before the closing luncheon dismisses attendees. Planners and travel industry delegates arriving by air will fly to Charlotte Douglas International Airport, about 15 minutes from Rock Hill via Interstate 77.
