Groups are booking spas and resorts

Mountain Resort Opportunities

Utah has gorgeous scenery, and its spas, resorts and ranches are kept busy with national and international guests. Groups run the gamut from churches to board retreats to marketing teams and everything in between.

“You name it, large or small, five people to 600 to 700,” said Steven Angerosa, a sales manager for Canyons Resort in Park City.

At Canyons, all-inclusive means a vast array of properties in one area.

“Our resort owns the mountain, three separate lodging properties and some townhomes. We own the retail area, operate the food-and-beverage and the catering. The resort also has other hotel properties onsite. All these entities are there for you,” said Angerosa. “As a resort, we accommodate the desires of anyone, like if you seek a luxury experience and want to be wined and dined.”

But Canyons also meets the needs of less extravagant groups.

“That group may not be able to afford the Golden Door Spa experience but are more budget conscious. We have for them our Silverado Lodge, which still offers excellent on-resort access to the property.”
