CAMDEN, Maine – Groups looking for a new winter experience can build their own hardwood toboggans to take or ship home at Maine’s Hartstone Inn. The New England historic hotel developed the original Toboggan Building 101 Package to help visitors combine picturesque snowy landscapes with a memorable souvenir.
Participants receive two days of instructions in handcrafting their own toboggans, such as bending, sanding finishing and fastening. The package also includes a two-night stay at the hotel.
After the second day’s instruction, groups will enjoy two signature Slippery Slope cocktails and a five-course chef’s tasting menu. A multi-course breakfast is also included both mornings.
