NAPA, Calif. – The Westin Verasa Napa has hired Alisha O’Connor as sales manager. O’Connor comes to the hotel after serving as sales manager for the Westin Kierland Resort and Spa in Scottsdale, Ariz.

ANCHORAGE, Ala. – The Anchorage Convention and Visitors Bureau has officially changed its name to Visit Anchorage. By changing the name after 36 years, the CVB hopes to make Anchorage information easier to find and reduces confusion about the organization’s purpose.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The Arkansas Department of Parks and Tourism has hired Marla Crider as assistant tourism director for the state. Crider follows Nancy Clark in the position, who retired in the end of November after 35 years with the organization. Before her hire, Crider worked for Garvan Woodland Gardens in Hot Springs, Ark., as association executive director. She has been in the Arkansas tourism industry for 21 years.
