Insights from Andrea
Andrea had a lot of great perspective about what it takes to lead Gen Z to productivity and satisfaction. Here’s what she had to say about how to lead them with clarity and kindness:
“You want to set high expectations, but then you want to pair that with high support. And so you want to be very, very clear and communicate what those expectations are…. You want to have smart goals laid out for them and you want to be communicating with them on a regular basis. Get rid of one year evaluations and move towards twelve week evaluations.”
Plus, she had great perspectives on:
- How common mental health challenges are for Gen Z
- Why clear values and vision are critical for retaining Gen Z employees
- How Gen Z workers fit into multigenerational teams
