Experience the wonder of the full-size Noah’s Ark firsthand with a visit to the Ark Encounter in Northern Kentucky. Based on the specifications recorded in the Bible, this 510-foot-long, 51-foot-high, and 85-foot-wide ship is as imposing as it is impressive.
Every deck of the Ark features engaging exhibits and information that explore this period of earth’s history. The displays include stunning animal recreations that are carefully crafted based on studies of fossil remains. Throughout the animal exhibits, information is discussed regarding how all the animals fit and how Noah and his family may have fed and cared for so many animals.
Along with answering the many logistical questions, the moral questions related to Noah’s ark and the global flood are also addressed throughout the attraction. As other exhibits examine the evidence left behind by this world-wide event, guests learn more about how the Grand Canyon formed, develop a better understanding of fossils, and examine how this catastrophe affected post-flood life and geography.
Beyond exploring the Ark, there is much to see and do on the Ark Encounter grounds.

Guests young and old love the Ararat Ridge Zoo—from a walkabout amongst kangaroos to camels, lemurs, a zorse and a zonkey, African crested porcupines, a bald eagle, and much more—the zoo showcases unique animals that excite and inspire. You can also enjoy the beautiful gardens and landscaping on the Ark grounds, our unique Italian-made carousel, the cutting-edge children’s playground, and various options for shopping and dining. Gospel Music Weekends
Together with Singing News, we will be hosting Gospel Music Weekends at the Ark every Friday and Saturday from May 30–July 26, 2025. During this event, guests can take in a variety of musical guests from the gospel and faith country music genres as over 20 artists perform at the outdoor Noah’s Village Stage. 40 Days & 40 Nights of Christian Music Festival
The world’s largest Christian Music Festival is back for another year! This massive event presented by Abraham Productions features over 100 total concerts that will take place from July 29–September 6, 2025. Artists from genres such as contemporary, praise & worship, southern gospel, bluegrass, and faith country will take to the stage, along with inspirational speakers.
