Alaska’s freshest bounty, served in a distinctive location, makes Bridge Seafood a popular dining spot. The restaurant spans Ship Creek. During salmon runs, diners can watch fish being pulled from the water by fishermen lining the riverbanks.
Group dinners start with the signature smoked-salmon spread, sourdough rolls and the restaurant’s noteworthy all-you-can-eat “starter bar.” It includes Bering Sea tanner crab and a variety of homemade salads. The main course is served family-style at tables for 10. It features seafood chowder, sockeye salmon, rosemary-garlic roasted prime rib and, for an additional charge, king crab.
“Chef Al emphasizes simplicity and forgoes heavy sauces to showcase the quality of the fish,” said sous chef Theresa Davila. “In our dishes, we use Alaskan vegetables and potatoes from nearby Matanuska Valley.”
