2023 Go South Tour Planner Coming in January

The 2023 edition of the Go South Tour Planner published with Southeast Tourism Society (STS) will appear in the January issue of The Group Travel Leader and will celebrate the 40th anniversary of the founding of STS.  Southeast Tourism Society is a travel and tourism membership organization for 13 states and the District of Columbia that markets the region and provides advocacy, education, recognition, and networking programs to its members.

“We’re excited about celebrating our 40th year of highlighting America’s most popular travel region in 2023 and one way we’ll do that is by partnering with The Group Travel Leader to showcase the Southeast to thousands of travel planners in the Go South Tour Planner,” said STS president and CEO Monica Smith.

Among the editorial highlights of the 2023 edition will be:

  • Festivals and Events featured in the relaunch of STS Top 20 Events
  • Music heritage of the southeast including the hit movie “Elvis”
  • Southern food trails
  • Southern architecture including historic homes
  • Downtown tours of southern cities

“This Go South Tour Planner provides the kickoff to our publishing year, and we have a great partner in STS,” said publisher Mac Lacy.  “Monica and her staff are energetic promoters of the piece and are invested in its success.  We’ll have plenty of copies at the STS Domestic Showcase in Huntsville, Alabama and will mail it directly to all our readers in January for their travel planning efforts in 2023.”
