One lucky attendee at the first ever Boomers in Groups (BiG) Conference in Milwaukee will walk away with a one-carat diamond. The October 21-23 conference will feature a Diamond Drop Champagne toast to close the conference. Every glass will have a one-carat cubic zirconium, except for one glass that has the real diamond.

Boomers are one of the largest consumer groups in the United States, so the conference will help boomer tour directors learn about travel destinations across the world that their clientele might be interested in.

At the conference, attendees will meet at two BiG Marketplaces, where travel planners and industry delegates can have one-on-one discussions for potential business opportunities. Each meeting last six minutes before the travel industry delegate moves to the next seated travel director.

The welcome reception will take place at the historic Milwaukee Public Museum, which houses one of the world’s oldest and largest natural history museums. Detailed dioramas replicate scenes from all over the world to give visitors a sense of life in other places and times.

Guests will also get to bet big at the Potawatomi Bingo Casino, which features 3,100 slot machines, 20 poker tables and more than 100 table games. To see some of the other Milwaukee gems, boomer travel directors can take a city sightseeing tour.

Conference attendees will stay at Milwaukee’s Crown Plaza Airport Hotel. The deadline for boomer travel directors to register will be August 15.
