Cracker Barrel Old Country Stores to be GLAMER Preferred Partner

SALEM, Ohio — Cracker Barrel Old Country Stores has become a Preferred Restaurant Partner with Group Leaders of America (GLAMER), which will increase its visibility to the group market at all 54 annual GLAMER Chapter Meetings.

Cracker Barrel, one of America’s favorite restaurants of traveling groups, will reach out to groups on a nationwide basis with the new partnership. The goal will be to create awareness with group leaders of Cracker Barrel Old Country Stores’ 588 locations in 41 states.

Cracker Barrel will be a national sponsor during lunch at every GLAMER Chapter Meeting, distributing literature and showing a video produced specifically for groups.

The partnership with GLAMER will also include an online presence as well as in-person meetings at GLAMER shows where group leaders will learn more about Cracker Barrel’s Country Coach Program, which makes it easy for groups to include the chain’s restaurants as a stop.

The program allows advance notification of arrival as well as pre-arranged meal payment. Also noted is that marked motorcoach parking is a feature at most locations.

Groups know Cracker Barrel as a quality stop combing great home-style cooking with shopping, said Tammy Knox of GLAMER.

“Shopping is in the top three inclusions of every survey ever done on the group tour market, and Cracker Barrel is able to deliver both comfort food and an easy shopping stop,” said Knox.
GLAMER reports that Cracker Barrel always scores at the top of its restaurant surveys, and that continuity of food quality and cleanliness is a standard.

“Group leaders love to know that in more than 40 states, they can find the same value and quality for their travelers,” said Knox. “As Cracker Barrel says, ‘Were just down the road, waiting to welcome your group with wholesome country cookin’.’”
