Diamond Tours Drills Down at TravelTalks

SALEM, Ohio — Group travel is on the rise as baby boomers enter the market for travel that is free of stress and in the comfort of friends. Diamond Tours has helped new boomer groups find tour destinations this year at over 30 TravelTalks meetings, as well as at conferences such as the Going On Faith Conference, the African American Travel Conference, the Select Traveler Conference and the Boomers in Groups Conference.

Wherever group travel planners gather, Diamond Tours is there with a selection of tour offerings. Diamond Tours is in its 28th year of business and works exclusively with group leaders and preformed groups that travel.

“I am impressed that Diamond Tours prints a dedicated group brochure with destinations selected for the groups attending the local TravelTalks meeting,” said Charlie Presley, founder of The Group Travel Family, parent company of TravelTalks. The 70-page brochure, which features more than 30 tours, is custom printed for each meeting based on the local departure area.

“Diamond Tours remains committed to providing the best value in the tour business,” said Eric Kirkpatrick, marketing director of Diamond Tours. “Our offerings reflect our unparalleled ability to offer the best prices.”

Operating since 1987, Diamond Tours has taken 1 million people on trips. The company is dedicated to allowing group leaders to book a Diamond Tour with no money down, transportation included and a minimum of only 30 passengers.

Diamond’s 2016 destination selection maintains standard tours such as Branson, the Grand Canyon and Boston, and new tours include Island of Coudres and Amelia Island, Florida. The company also offers a selection of show tours, gaming tours and major city tours.

Diamond also offers a travel insurance package, Travel Confident, with prices starting as low as $35.

New this year is the company’s focus on specific interest groups such as veterans, nature, culture, diversity, small-town charm and history. Each of these focuses can be selected by tour as outlined in the company’s brochure.
