Entertaining 125 people is no small feat, but The Group Travel Leader Inc. did just that with its second annual Travel South USA Pub Crawl in Shreveport, Louisiana, in April.

The group of tour operators, destination representatives and Travel South Showcase delegates met at a local bar, Stray Cats, and enjoyed the outdoor courtyard. The next stop was The Boot, a great representative of Shreveport’s local nightlife. The bar had a second-story balcony from which staff tossed Mardi Gras beads and drink cozies to attendees below.

The last stop was Chicky’s Boom Boom Room and Oyster House. The DJ cranked up the music and hosts threw out beads and Abita Brewing Company T-shirts from the balcony. A special musical performance by a Pub Crawl guest capped off an incredible event.

“It’s all about showing our clients a great time and experiencing the local nightlife,” said Kelly Tyner, director of sales and marketing at The Group Travel Leader.
