CHATTANOOGA, Tennessee — Ruby Falls has completed a multimillion-dollar expansion that includes new venues and enhanced guest services and amenities.
Highlights include a new entrance and ticket atrium with expanded guest services, the accessible Blue Heron Overlook with a view of the Tennessee Valley, seasonal food carts and shaded open-air dining, and the Village Gift Shop. Connecting all the venues is the new Ruby Falls Village Plaza.
Ruby Falls has applied for more than 40 LEED strategies in the green design of the new venues. Final approval for LEED certification is in process.
With the expansion, Ruby Falls introduced timed-entry ticketing.
Ruby Falls is America’s deepest commercial cave and tallest underground waterfall open to the public with a 145-foot waterfall located 1,120 feet beneath Lookout Mountain.
