We asked our staff “If you had a free airline pass and a week with nothing else to do, where would you go?” Find out where we would fly to in this month’s Staff Sound-Off.
Right now, probably Maui. We love Hawaii, and Maui has taken a huge hit since the fire in Lahaina. I have always found Hawaiians to be hospitable and I love the cultural aspects of the islands. I’d probably book a round on Kapalua’s Plantation golf course just for the views of the Pacific.

Bora Bora or the Maldives

I want to say Portugal, but I have family that I miss in Seattle and would love to visit them and go sightseeing in the Northwest.
— Sarah Sechrist, Controller
I would love to go to Oregon because I’ve never been, and I want to experience its huge variety of natural scenery. It has the Painted Hills, amazing waterfalls at the Columbia River Gorge, Crater Lake National Park and beautiful beaches, so I think it would be the perfect blend of destinations.

That’s a tough one. I would have to say either Israel and Jordan or Peru. Those to two locations have been on my bucket list for a long time, with Iceland coming in at third place.

With just a week, I think I’d like to visit Iceland. If I had a bit more time, I’d love to really immerse myself in Spain and Portugal.
