ATLANTA — Discovery Consumer Products, the licensing arm of Discovery Communications, is collaborating with Scottford Hospitality to offer travelers new vacation options that capture the spirit of adventure and exploration.
Launching this fall, Discovery Destinations will initially bring together a collection of six resorts from around the world that offer activities representing the brand’s theme of adventure, exploration and curiosity.
The partner resorts are: Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill, Harrodsburg, Kentucky; Nantahala Outdoor Center, Bryson City, North Carolina; House on Metolius, Oregon; Goldmoor Inn, Galena, Illinois; Andaman Resort in Moganshan, China; and Terra Paradise in Costa Rica.
Each resort was selected for its broad list of activities embodying the four core elements of Discovery Destinations: nature, science, adventure and animals.
Travelers will book via an online hub that aggregates the featured resorts.
