BETHLEHEM, Pennsylvania — The Kemerer Museum of Decorative Arts, Pennsylvania’s only decorative arts museum, reopened in late September after a yearlong renovation.

The renovation included the addition of a two-story environmentally controlled vault with glass walls that houses the most sensitive paintings, textiles and glassware.

One of only 15 museums in the United States exclusively dedicated to decorative arts, the Kemerer Museum of Decorative Arts features examples of Pennsylvania German textiles, Colonial and Victorian furniture, ceramics, clocks and Bohemian glass covering nearly 300 years.

The Kemerer Museum is also home to the E.J. Prime dollhouse and toy collection, one of the largest antique dollhouse collections in the United States.
