BankTravel creates handbook

BankTravel, the leading organization for loyalty travel programs, has announced the development of a best practices handbook.

Compiled over a three-year period of roundtable discussions by bank loyalty program directors, the handbook covers seven topic areas: crisis management, operations, return on investment, sales and marketing, domestic and international travel, communicating with management and long-term trends.

“BankTravel Best Practices Handbook” is sponsored by the Baton Rouge, La., Convention and Visitors Bureau and the Louisiana Office of Tourism and will be sent free to bank club directors who requests a copy.

“The purpose of the handbook is to take the value of the roundtable discussions that occur at BankTravel Conferences and give that insight to bank clubs throughout the country. Bank clubs all experience the same challenges, and this handbook gives some real answers to club directors,” said Joe Cappuzzello, president of BankTravel.

The 58-page handbook will be distributed to all BankTravel members as well as bank club directors in attendance to BankTravel 2011 in Baton Rouge.
