DOLOMITES, Italy – You can enjoy your time indoors as much as your time on the slopes on the Dolomites Gourmet Ski Safari and Tour. This guided ski trip with Dolomite Mountains Ltd., appeals to both gourmands and ski-lovers with the gorgeous slopes of Italy’s Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The six-day, five-night tour takes guests to 12 ski destinations with 760 miles of slopes all on one ski pass. The ski holiday begins in Alta Badia, known for its Ladin culture and ends in Italian Cortina d’Ampezzo.
Skiers can view Italy’s stunning Trentino region from 10,965 feet on top of Marmolada, which is the highest peak of the Dolomites. At each destination, participants will stay in mountain lodges and dine on Michelin-starred regional cuisine from Italy, Austria and Ladin Dolomite cultures.
“You may never ski the same run or taste the same wine twice,” said Agustina Lagos-Marmol, Dolomite Mountains founder. “Now with the launch of this new itinerary, you can combine a love of skiing with the region’s culinary magic.”
The skiing itinerary is available from mid-December through mid-April. One guide is assigned for up to six guests. For more information, visit Dolomitemountains.com.
