Buffets Inc. to present at GLAMER

SALEM, Ohio — Finding a meal stop on tour is a challenge that every group leader and travel director has dealt with to varying degrees of success. It’s not easy to locate a restaurant that has quality food; that is clean, fast and affordable; and, most important, that wants a bus tour of 40 people.

An established restaurant name with more than 500 locations coast to coast that welcome motorcoach groups will make presentations to group leaders at GLAMER Chapter Meetings.

Buffets Inc., the corporate parent of Old Country Buffet, Ryan’s, Hometown Buffet, Fire Mountain and Country Buffet, has developed a brochure and a video presentation that will be presented to group leaders at 35 GLAMER Chapter Meetings.

Although Buffets Inc. has more than 500 locations from which to choose, it has established a central reservations number for groups.

Motorcoach parking is never a problem, and most restaurants have seating for up to 400. Group leaders and drivers receive complimentary meals, and banquet rooms are available in most locations.

Of special interest in today’s tight economic times is the set prices, which include beverage, dessert and tax. As an example, the 2011 group rates are breakfast, $7.50; lunch, $9; and dinner, $12.50.

“We are pleased to have Buffets Inc. at GLAMER and know that our group leaders will appreciate the value and quality that their restaurants offer groups,” said Tammy Knox of GLAMER.
