BB Riverboats is a family business that has operated in the Cincinnati area across 3 generations. The Bernstein family started as restauranteurs in Cincinnati in 1962 with many historic mainstays in the culinary landscape of Cincinnati such as the Mike Fink Restaurant, El Greco, Benjamin’s, Shirley’s, Crockett’s and the River Café as well as a full service catering company, Current Catering (formerly Bensons Catering). After so many customers requested a riverboat dining experience, the family launched BB Riverboats in 1979 and has never looked back since. Currently the third generation of Terri and Ben Bernstein operate the business, though it will not be out of the question that Captain Alan Bernstein will be at the helm on your next cruise. And if you are truly lucky enough, you may even see the 4th generation running around and helping where they can. The culture of this family business will be shown to you in the form of its hospitality. Their guests are coming to their home, and they intend to make you feel welcome every time you visit.
