John Deere Pavilion to reopen after renovations

MOLINE, Ill. — The John Deere Pavilion reopens this month after a major renovation that provides a completely new look and feel to the interior and makes more effective use of the outdoor space.

“Next year will be the pavilion’s 15th anniversary, making this an ideal time to offer our guests and fans something completely new,” said Brian Holst, marketing manager for the John Deere Pavilion. “This redesign is the result of several years of planning, and we look forward to unveiling it to the public in mid-February.”

The redesigned exhibits expand the pavilion’s presentations to feature all aspects of the John Deere company, including its global markets, products, concept vehicles and corporate citizenship.
The pavilion had been closed since Dec. 12 to prepare for the reopening.

The pavilion is the cornerstone of John Deere Commons, a downtown riverfront complex that includes the city’s arena, a John Deere store, hotels and restaurants.
