Lumberjack Adventure Opens
PIGEON FORGE, Tennessee — Dolly Parton’s new $25 million dinner theater experience, Lumberjack Adventure, opened May 20 in Pigeon Forge .
Parton serves as executive producer and wrote the romantic song “Something More,” which helps tell the story of the Smoky Mountain-themed adventure that celebrates the spirit of the Appalachian people who lived off the land in logging and milling towns.
Entertainers display acrobatic skills in the sky and on the stage, including axe juggling and speed climbing.
The lumberjack feast features creamy timber slaw and homemade lumberjack biscuits, campfire fried chicken, smokehouse pulled pork, home-style smashed taters, sawmill gravy and fried skillet corn.
