Showtime in the Casinos

Destination Highlights

Niagara Falls provides a picturesque backdrop for a visit here any time of the year. At the Seneca Niagara Resort and Casino, guests can enjoy performances at its Bear’s Den Showroom, an intimate 440-seat theater where no seat is more than 40 feet from the stage. Here, enjoy the music and majesty of legends Rita Coolidge, the Robert Cray Band, Mary Wilson of the Supremes, and Jimmy Beaumont and the Skyliners. Other popular acts are Jay White as Neil Diamond, the Diamonds: Silver Bells and Diamonds, and Edwin McCain.

Other acts scheduled to appear at the casino’s 2,500-seat event center are soul singers the The Platters, and a live stage show based on the television program “Dancing With the Stars.”

St. Louis is a great place to enjoy wonderful casino entertainment. Rivercity Casino and Hotel will host artists Roger Hodgson, Dennis Deyoung, Styx, Melissa Etheridge and Sara Evans. In the suburb of St. Charles, performers like the Steve Pecaro Band and Dr. Zhivegas can be enjoyed at the Ameristar Casino.

In Norman, Oklahoma, situated only a few miles from downtown Oklahoma City, people come from all across the country to enjoy entertainment at the Riverwind Casino. The upcoming lineup in its state-of-the-art 1,500-seat Showplace Theatre includes the Gin Blossoms with its unique Jangle Pop sound, the alternative rock band Collective Soul, sultry R&B and soul singer Tyrese and Texas music sensation Casey Donahew.

On Stage in Vegas

Not meant to overshadow any of the aforementioned venues, Las Vegas has always been recognized for amazing shows, making the famous Las Vegas Strip one of the most iconic travel destinations in the world.

Among its spectacular choices is “ShowStoppers” at the Wynn Las Vegas, which showcases a full orchestra with dazzling scenery and a cast of 66 elaborately costumed singers and dancers in the intimate Encore Theater. Also here is “Le Rêve,” an aqua theater-in-the-round voted “Best Production Show” in Vegas for six consecutive years, which features what has been described as “a daring dance through spectacular water and fire elements.”

Las Vegas is also known as the place to enjoy a wide array of perhaps the most well-known and loved acrobatic troupes in the world: Cirque du Soleil. Resident shows here include “O” at the Bellagio; “Zumanity” at New York, New York; “Michael Jackson One” at Mandalay Bay; “The Beatles Love” at the Mirage; “Mystère” at Treasure Island; and “KÁ” at the MGM Grand.
