Staff Sound-Off: Wildlife or Dinner?
We asked our staff, “Would you rather go on a dinner cruise or a wildlife cruise?” Find out which one we’re on board for in this month’s Staff Sound-Off.
I definitely want to do a safari cruise with CroisiEurope on their small riverboat on Lake Kariba.
— Telisa Rech, Advertising Sales Manager
Without hesitation, a wildlife cruise. The feeling of being surrounded by open water and wild landscapes gives me a sense of appreciation and connection to nature that reminds me how remarkable and interconnected all living things truly are. In those moments, I realize the real luxury of travel, for me, isn’t about a five-star meal; it’s the privilege of seeing the world, unfiltered and alive.
— Ashley DeLucia, Advertising Sales Manager
I tend to enjoy wildlife cruises more. You can have a great meal on land, but wildlife cruises often bring you face-to-face with creatures you can’t see if you’re not out on the water.
— Brian Jewell, CEO & Executive Editor
Wildlife. I’d get bored on a dinner cruise.
— Sarah Sechrist, Controller
This is a tough one. It’s a toss-up, but I am leaning toward the wildlife cruise.
— Donia Simmons, Creative Director
A wildlife cruise for sure! Specifically, I’d love to do the sightseeing cruise from Boston to Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary for whale watching.
— Ashley Ricks, Print & Digital Publishing Manager
