SALEM, Ohio — Destinations and attractions have discovered that working together in marketing to travel groups pays off in increased group bookings. The Great Passion Play in Eureka Springs, Ark., and the Rogers, Ark., Convention and Visitors Bureau are teaming up to woo religious travel groups by acting as sponsors of the Going On Faith Conference official luncheon.

Going On Faith, which brings the travel industry together with the travel decision makers for church and faith-based organizations that travel as groups, will be held in Joplin, Mo., Aug. 24-26.

By joining forces, Rogers and the Great Passion Play will give groups a reason to visit their area of Arkansas.

“Arkansas is a great place for groups, and the two really compliment each other by giving groups an increased knowledge of the area and new places to visit,” said Tammy Knox of Going On Faith.

The conference luncheon will feature entertainment by the Great Passion Play, while the Rogers CVB will give delegates insight into the area and tips on how to build a complete tour in Arkansas.

“Delegates will gain knowledge and want to plan a future tour that includes these two great sponsors,” said Knox.
