SAN FRANCISCO – The San Francisco Travel Association has appointed John Reyes as executive vice president and Tom Kiely as executive vice president of tourism. Reyes will oversee all convention activities, especially those involving the city’s major convention facilities, such as the Moscone Center. He brings 30 years of executive travel experience, including his most recent post as president and CEO of the Monterey County CVB. Kiely will supervise travel business development from domestic and international markets. He joined the company after serving as director of business development for the California Academy of Science.

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – Margaret Wallace was named group sales director by Gilmore Entertainment. Wallace previously served as director of sales for the Rock Hill/York County CVB.

LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles CVB has hired Don Skeoch as chief marketing officer. Before his hire, Skeoch worked at the California Academy of Sciences as chief marketing and exhibit development officer.

AURORA, Ill.  Chris Hamilton is the new executive director of the Aurora Area Convention and Visitors Bureau. Hamilton had been executive director of the Lebanon Tourist and Convention Commission in Lebanon, Ky, since 2005.
