LITTLE ROCK, Arkansas — Travel South USA will hold its 31st annual Showcase in Little Rock, February 17-20. The art of Arkansas will be on display throughout the four-day conference, from the state’s spectacular new Crystal Bridges Art Museum in Bentonville to art from the delta as depicted in John Grisham’s “A Painted House.”

“We’re excited to be coming back to Arkansas, the ‘center of the United States,’” said Liz Bittner, executive director of Travel South USA. “All of us know that Arkansas is the Natural State, but now they are showcasing the breadth of their artistic offerings as well, and I think our delegates will be amazed at what is taking place here.”

To familiarize attending tour operators with the state and the surrounding region, a full complement of pre- and post-conference familiarization tours are scheduled. Prior to the conference, operators may choose from three offerings that take place February 14-17: The Art of West by Northwest, The Art of Soil to Soul, and The Art of Natural Springs.

After the meeting, the state will cooperate with Mississippi and Tennessee destinations to offer post-tours titled Find Your True Stories in Mississippi and Memphis — Beale, Blues, BBQ and So Much More. Those trips are scheduled for February 20-23.

Tour operators interested in attending Travel South Showcase will find details online at
