LAKE GENEVA, Wis. — The first of its kind zip line in Wisconsin is set to debut this spring in a former gravel pit near Lake Geneva.
Lake Geneva Canopy Tours will take visitors through tress on multiple zip lines for two and a half hours. Views will include the forest, Lake Como and the surrounding countryside.
In addition to the zip lines, guests will cross sky bridges and climb spiral staircases while guides share information on the ecology, biology, geology and local history of the Geneva Lake area.
The canopy tour will end with a race over 1,100 feet long where riders are expected to reach speeds of up to 40 miles per hour. The racing zip lines are also available to ride independent of the full tour.
