Celebrate the Season at Fernbank Museum (Sponsored Article)

Fernbank Museum of Natural History features several ways to celebrate with fun and unique events including festive tree displays, global experiences, holiday-themed events and more.

Your group will ooh and aah over two floors of twinkling, beautifully decorated trees showcasing celebrations around the world in the enchanting Winter Wonderland exhibition. Twinkling with lights, glimmering with color and shining with a variety of cultural objects, more than 30 trees and other displays recognize the diversity of celebrations, holidays, traditions and events from around the world.

A special Winter Wonderland Seek & Find will be available. Use this free self-guided activity as you explore the exhibition and see if you can match the photos to the displays. A great activity for groups of all ages.

Special Holiday Programming

Winter Wonderland Celebration Days will be offered every weekend November 21 – December 19 featuring live performances, classic holiday cartoons, puppet making crafts, appearances by Santa-saurus and more.

Adults can enjoy music, films, small plates, a nip from a yuletide toddy and more as they enjoy evening viewing hours of Winter Wonderland Fridays during Martinis & IMAX® on November 20, December 4, 11 and 18.

Make the most of your visit with the addition of IMAX® tickets. Featured films this holiday season include Wonders of the Arctic (showing through February 11) and Jerusalem (showing November 5 – January 7).
