- B.B. King, Satchel Paige, Thurgood Marshall, Cab Calloway — these are just a few of the legends that stayed at the historic Hotel Metropolitan. Listed in the Green Book, this 11-bedroom property was a popular stop among Black musicians, athletes, politicians and other prominent figures. Today, you can visit this storied Black heritage site.
