Looking for a place guaranteed to move and educate your group?

The National WWII Museum is a remarkable must-see attraction in New Orleans that illuminates the American experience during World War II. Ranked the #1 attraction in New Orleans on Tripadvisor and recipient three years in a row of the Travelers’ Choice Award, the Museum takes visitors inside the story of World War II through moving personal stories and powerful interactive displays. Conveniently located in downtown New Orleans, only nine blocks from the French Quarter and Canal Street and just one block from the St. Charles Streetcar Line, the Museum is a perfect choice for group tours, student tours, or military reunions.

The National WWII Museum’s exhibits are self-guided and cover the epic and global scale of the war that changed the world, in a voice that is intimate and personal, right in the heart of New Orleans. Museum exhibit halls are arranged around central themes of the war, offering visitors an opportunity to experience the war through the eyes of the men and women who lived it. The Museum also features rotating special exhibits, like The Walt Disney Studios and World War II, which is on display through September 24.

Make sure your group also sees Expressions of America, The National WWII Museum’s new outdoor sound and light show. Enjoy an unforgettable evening of music, special effects, and entertainment as projections 90 feet tall transport you back in time. A nighttime spectacular for all ages, Expressions of America brings history to life on a grand scale. Stunning visuals transform the exterior of the Museum’s buildings as actor Gary Sinise narrates an inspiring glimpse into what life was like for the men and women who served our country in every way imaginable.

Group rates are offered for groups of 10 or more for visits to the Museum and BB’s Stage Door Canteen. Box lunches are also available with advanced notice.

To schedule your visit, please contact Group Sales at least one week in advance to determine if your desired visit date and arrival time is available. Peak months for groups are March, April, and May. For tour groups, the Museum offers complimentary admission for tour escort and driver. Youth groups are required to have one chaperone for every 10 kids.

We suggest a minimum of three hours to view Museum galleries. Groups may also view the 4D cinematic experience Beyond All Boundaries and perform as crew members in Final Mission: USS Tang Submarine Experience by additional fee subject to availability. Group Sales will also be happy to assist you with BB’s Stage Door Canteen group reservations and/or group lunch and dinner options at the Museum.
