I love reading all of our travel magazines!
— Telisa Rech, Advertising Sales Manager
Does The Winemaker’s Wife count? It was set in France.
— Sarah Sechrist, Controller
I haven’t read anything about travel itself recently, but I did read The Alchemy of Flowers by Laura Resau. It told the story of the main character traveling to France to live as a gardener at a mysterious estate called ‘Paradise.’
— Rachel Crick, Associate Editor & Project Manager
The Bible is the only travel book I have read recently.
— Donia Simmons, Creative Director
Currently, I’m listening to The Book Woman of Troublesome Creek during my commute home each day. The main character, Cussy Mary, is a librarian who travels throughout Appalachia delivering books to secluded mountain communities during the Depression.
— Ashley Ricks, Print & Digital Publishing Manager
I read “Unreasonable Hospitality” by Will Guidara over the holiday break. It’s the story of how he led a New York eatery to become one of the best restaurants in the world. The lessons he learned along the way are really insightful, and there’s a lot in his tale to inspire anyone who works in travel, service or hospitality.
— Brian Jewell, CEO & Executive Editor
Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer
— Ashley DeLucia, Advertising Sales Manager
A Cook’s Tour by Anthony Bourdain. It’s a great combination of food and travel!
— Brady Wine, Sales Coordinator
