You’ve climbed to the top of the Gateway Arch, browsed the museums in Forest Park and taken a paddle-wheeler cruise on the Mississippi River. You may think that you’ve “done” St. Louis; the truth is, you’re just getting started.

Thanks to its central location and abundant history, St. Louis is a perennially favorite group tour destination. It’s also one of the most dynamic cities in the American heartland, with a thriving arts and culture scene and a downtown district that is both historic and forward thinking. With a tourism menu full of attractions large and small, it’s virtually impossible for a tour group to exhaust all this destination has to offer.

And there will soon be even more to see — 2011 looks to be a great year for St. Louis, with major historical commemorations, new museums and attractions opening and a highly anticipated redevelopment of several central neighborhoods.
