Going On Faith Conference heads to Panama City Beach

SALEM, Ohio Church and religious group travel planners from across the nation will be gathering at Panama City Beach, Florida, next year to attend the Going On Faith Conference, an event for group travel within faith-based organizations.

“Faith-based travel has been quick to rebound from the past two years of disruption, and we look for a strong attendance at Going On Faith,” said Jennifer Ferguson of The Group Travel Family of Brands.

Recent surveys of faith-based travel groups have shown a rapid rebound in group travel activity. Many church groups are reporting travel activity at or above pre-pandemic levels. The travel rebound is being attributed to close personal links inside the travel groups, leading to a greater desire to engage travel as an activity.

“We see a lot of groups that have become comfortable in being together on a weekly basis and that are extending that to group travel,” Ferguson said.

The travel planners attending the Going On Faith Conference will experience Panama City Beach and discover hotels, attractions and restaurants that will welcome their tour groups. In addition, the delegates will network with 150 travel planners to share ideas for increased and improved travel. They’ll also meet travel industry delegates representing destinations, hotels and attractions nationwide.

The Going On Faith Conference will be held at the Sheraton Golf and Spa Resort in Panama City Beach September 13-15. Travel leaders of church, religious and faith-based organizations can learn more about Going On Faith at gofconference.com or by calling 800-628-0993.
