LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Humorist Jeanne Robertson is inviting her “bestest” women friends to two days of comedy and fun in Louisville May 18-19, 2012.
Robertson’s Bestest Friends Event at the Galt House Hotel and Suites will feature a stellar lineup of comedians and entertainers, including humorists Hope Mihalap, Glen Ward and Jimmy Travis; vocalists LaDonna Gatlin, Jana Stanfield and Patrick Henry; and Robertson’s long-time partner in comedy, Kentucky humorist Carl Hurley.
Although there are male performers, the event is for women only.
Three shows, each different, will be presented over the weekend, on Friday and Saturday nights and Saturday morning. Galt House room packages include two options for Saturday afternoon, racing at Churchill Down with a buffet lunch on Millionaire’s Row or a luncheon cruise on the Ohio River aboard the Belle of Louisville, a national historic landmark steamboat.
