LEXINGTON, Ky. — The Group Travel Leader Inc. has appointed Robert Hoelscher as cruise correspondent for its three publications: The Group Travel Leader, Bank Travel Management and Going On Faith.
Collectively, the three publications reach more than 37,000 industry readers, including tour operators, cruise sellers, travel agents, group leaders, bank travel planners, alumni travel directors, religious travel planners and others.
“We are very pleased to have a travel professional of Bob Hoelscher’s expertise and reputation serving as our cruise correspondent,” said publisher Mac Lacy. “Bob has owned and managed major travel companies including Flemming Tours, was a founder of Travel Alliance Partners, is a past chairman and CEO of NTA and has personally cruised on 64 different ships and visited more than 90 foreign countries during his 41-year career in the travel industry.
“Bob will be our day-to-day editorial contact with the cruise industry and will report on news and new offerings from cruise lines and companies.”
Hoelscher’s coverage will kick off with the July/August issue of Bank Travel Management.
